In order to combat winter hues, NTPC North Karanpura took another initiative under Community Development by distributing 200 blankets and 150 smokeless chulha in nearby village of Raham .

This timely gesture by NTPC North Karanpura will ensure that poor people from project affected villages are well protected from the winter. Distribution of Smokeless Chulha also shows commitment of North Karanpura towards its environment.

NTPC North Karanpura has always focussed on holistic community development works.

The program was attended by large audience and distribution was done in presence of Shri Vishwajeet Uraon , Raham Panchayat Mukhiya and Shri Sukhdev Yadav, zila parishad member . From NTPC Shri Jeet Singh Sandhu, Executive (CSR) were present.
